Spotty WiFi Again

Today has been a long day with a ferry ride across lake Michigan,  and a time change. This morning started of with a walk to breakfast. The boys have enjoyed pretending to be college students, and even had Mountain Dew at breakfast! We had several hours before we needed to be at the ferry,  and we needed to figure out transportation.  The truck was too tall to ride the ferry, so Ken and John took it and went around the lake through Illinois and Indiana. This turned out to be quite frustrating for us, because the bus system didn't make much sense. We saw a few sculptures,  including Gertie and her ducklings.

In the end,  we took a cab with plenty of time to spare.  The ferry was big, the people were friendly,  and the wind was fierce! It was worthwhile riding across!!

Trust fall with against the wind!

We have a beautiful place to stay tonight, but with very little WiFi connection. Although our hotel is located on the bay with waterfront views,  the service wasn't great.  In fact, two women came into our room with their own keys. That was awkward!

Our family, along with Margaret and John walked to a delicious Indian restaurant,  and had our fill of the most flavorful curries, naan, and spicy chicken.  It was nice to hang out with Margaret and John.
Todd and I watched the sunset from some really posh chairs by the water,  and it was majestic!
We'll be at a farm so who knows what the service well be like there :) Lots of pics to post as well!
