Lake Erie

It has been a very busy day with rain, thunderstorms, groceries, and cooking! We are on a property with a house and cottage right on Lake Erie with access to the water. We began our morning from the church in Fremont and drove to Vermillion.

Todd and I were responsible for making dinner tonight,  and had to shop a bit. When we arrived at the cottage,  it was threatening thunderstorms and raining.

 We put out a lunch spread, instead of on the road, since the riders only had 50 ish miles today! Some of the riders came in wet,  but most had to hide under shelter. While I was preparing a salad for dinner, Todd took the boys in the lake.  As I was about to put my swimsuit on,  it started to thunder. Dinner was a huge hit, and the

best part was I didn't have to clean up. Many people help with getting meals ready and cleaning. Fortunately, after dinner we had time to swim before the rain came down again.  The sunset was beautiful again tonight...
